Tutoring is a support service that accompanies students throughout their university studies, helping them with orientation, regular progression and more informed participation in academic life.
The service provides a point of reference for questions about teaching activities, deadlines, procedures and educational opportunities, helping to reduce initial disorientation and to prevent possible difficulties. Students may contact the tutor for information about their study pathway, for assistance with completing and submitting study plans and for clarification about the excellence programme of the SAGAS Department.
Tutoring also encourages dialogue between students, teaching staff and university services, helping to make information and available opportunities more accessible.

The tutor receives students by appointment, also online.
Two in-person meetings are also scheduled each month, on the second and fourth Friday, from 14.00 to 18.00, in the Oriental Studies room of the Biblioteca Brunelleschi.
During periods of excavation or fieldwork, appointments may take place online. In these cases, the tutor will agree the meeting arrangements directly with the students and send them the relevant link.
