The University has introduced General Courses into its educational offer. These courses award university credits (CFU) following examinations assessed on a pass/fail basis only and may be chosen by students enrolled in all first-cycle and second-cycle degree programmes.

Credits obtained through General Courses are additional credits and are not included in the total number of credits required by the study plan.

General Courses are also associated with an Open Badge, a universally recognised digital certificate designed to make the skills acquired more visible and transferable, including outside the university context.

In the 2025/2026 academic year, two General Courses have been activated, each worth 3 CFU:

❖ [B035419] Gender-based violence.

Students may include these courses in their study plan under TAF D — Free-choice examinations or TAF F — Other educational activities.
